Travelling from Cape Town:
  • From the N2, take the “Kaapweg” exit and follow the road signs that show "R102 Kaapweg" - keep to the right (and ensure you don’t go back onto the N2 highway)
  • Continue along Cape Road/ Kaapweg for about 5km
  • When you get to the intersection CJ Langenhoven /1st Avenue (Greenacres Bridge on your left), turn right into 1st Avenue
  • Cross over a 4-way stop, and continue along 1st Avenue until you reach a 2-way stop
  • At the 2-way stop, turn left into Carnoustie (Golf course on left)
  • First left into Wychwood Avenue
  • First left into Birdlip Avenue
  • Stonechat guest house is number 14 (second house on your right) on the corner.
Travelling from Grahamstown/Port Alfred:
  • Follow the signs that say "SETTLERS WAY" (M4)/ Port Elizabeth Airport until you are on the freeway running next to the bay.
  • Take the Mount Road exit (M5)
  • Continue through two sets of traffic lights and you will arrive at a large traffic circle
  • Keep left and proceed up the hill (this is Mount Road) to the top where the road meets Cape Road.
  • Proceed across Cape Road into Mill Park Road
  • At the 4-way stop, turn right into Wares Road
  • First right into Birdlip Avenue
  • Stonechat guest house is number 14 on your left, on the corner.
   
  Travelling from PE Airport:
  • When you leave PE airport, turn left. You will cross the railway line 200m further on.
  • At the next traffic lights, turn left into Heugh Road
  • Proceed up Heugh Road to the next set of traffic lights and turn right into 6th Avenue.
  • Proceed down 6th Avenue to the T-junction and traffic lights, at River Road. Turn right into Target Kloof.
  • Continue through the valley and up the hill to the traffic lights
  • Turn left into King George Road
  • At the T-junction (yield), turn left and continue with Grey High School grounds on your right.
  • Continue over the 4-way stop (Wares Road)
  • First right into Birdlip Avenue
  • Stonechat guest house is number 14 on your left, on the corner.
